E.L.R

  • Since I have started my service learning, I have been observing the class when students work on projects. I mostly assist some groups when they need help. I also watch groups edit, discuss, and film their project. Since I am not allowed to touch the equipment, I can only observe the class. I see the different roles of the students with making film, and see whose role makes a significant difference to the project. I make sure I can talk about films with the teacher, Mr. Miller, as well. I ask him lots of questions about film and all the projects he has done. This is my way of being an effective leaner, by asking alot of questions and trying to take the discussion in further depth to get a better understanding. I have learned alot about film and the time it takes to make a film in class. As I spend more time in ROP, I might have a chance with using the equipment. Which can lead me to further learning.
  • I way to improve my learning, might be asking the students questions and try to see what they think of filming.
  • I do not have pictures, since I barely started the class. So I don't have anything to post. :(
